It can be said that Rwanda is a fast-growing boutique coffee producer in East Africa recently. Apart from the vivid memories of its sad story of the Rwanda Holocaust, the quality of its boutique coffee has also improved very fast. This year, we have tested several Rwandan coffees with fresh texture and very beautiful and elegant acid value.
We have also introduced boutiques from the Nyamasheke producing area of Rwanda several times, and this time the carefully selected Rwandan coffee-Mushonyi comes from the producing area of Rutsiro, which is located in the north of Nyamasheke, also on the banks of Lake Kiev. High altitude, fertile volcanic soil and excellent climate make high-quality coffee. Coffee from Mushonyi, a micro-production area, has won the COE championship in 2011!
The processing plant we selected in Mushonyi this year has improved its quality year by year and has been shortlisted for COE this year with a bright future!
