Ethiopia

There are about 6,000 to 10,000 coffee tree species in Ethiopia. Because coffee plants are native to East Africa, thousands of varieties grow here through natural cross-pollination, and because of the staggering number, there are not enough genetic tests to distinguish all the different names between growers and buyers. Gelana

Kilana is a special bean! This is named after the water washing station, the full name is GelanaAbaya,Asgori (county name). The washing station is located in the golden area of Yegashefi, nestled by Lake Abaya.

The beans were washed with water and fermented for as long as 18 hours and dried on the fermentation bed for about 10 days. When the cup is tested, the sweet fragrance will show an obvious fragrance of jasmine, and the sense of hierarchy is strong.

Coffee roasting advice on Qianjie:

Water washed Yega beans are not too hard, baking can use standard baking, medium firepower into beans, throttle 20%, can add firepower to turn brown point, throttle open to 50%, a blast door 80%, firepower adjusted according to ROR situation, it is recommended to bake beans under 13 ℃, shallow baking degree to retain flower and fruit aroma, if you want to taste more mellow and sweet, you can turn off fire and slide to 13 ℃ when exploding for 10 ℃. The coffee will stretch better.
