FINCA ROMERILLOS-MANUEL ROMERO

Ecuador

Manuel Romero started selling coffee nine years ago and opened a coffee shop in Loha seven years ago. However, just three years ago, after coming into contact with boutique coffee through a cup test course, he decided to buy an estate and start his own coffee growing business. At that moment, he didn't think it would change his view of coffee and his life.

The reason why he chose to grow coffee in Chaguar Pamba County (Loha Province) is obvious, which is rich in coffee and is the birthplace of his mother. He looked for the best varieties of coffee and planted Rosa, Vera Rob and Kaduai.

After that, his coffee business developed rapidly. This year, his coffee career reached its peak, when he won first and second places in Loha's extraordinary Cup competition. In the past three years, every day has not been easy, but with his love and efforts for coffee, he has built a great team and become a famous coffee grower in Ecuador. What pleases Manuel most is the deep friendship that has been forged through coffee.
