Mulish washing station

Mulish washing Station is a newly built processing plant, which was established in 2014. In addition to its relatively young age, it is managed by experienced partners Testi. In the hills and mountains around Danbi Uddo, a street in Shakiso Woreda, about 850 small farmers own 2 to 5 hectares of land and send their harvests to Mulish washing stations.

The Mulish washing station is well prepared to handle more than 280t of green coffee during the harvest season. Daily operations are smooth because there are enough raw materials to handle most of the harvest; Aggad beaters, flotation tanks and elevated beds. The washed coffee is fermented for 36 to 48 hours and dried for up to 12 days. Natural objects should be left to dry for 15 to 18 days.
