Qianjie Coffee-introduction of Yunnan SHB Fine Coffee

The producing area of Baoshan small grain coffee has the climatic characteristics of dry and hot valley: obvious dry and wet season, the same period of rain and heat, no severe cold in winter and no heat in summer; October to April is the dry season, the humidity is small, the cloud cover is less, the sunny day is more, the daytime temperature is high, the temperature difference between day and night is large; from May to September is the wet season, the water vapor is more, the cloud cover is heavy, the cloudy day is more, the daytime temperature is not high, and the temperature difference between day and night is not big. This special climatic condition is very conducive to the growth of coffee.

Baoshan began to grow coffee on a large scale in 1952 and has a history of more than 60 years. To sum up, the production of good coffee in Baoshan is the result of altitude, geographical location, climate and planting management experience. Of course, it also includes soil, environment and other factors.

Baoshan mainly grows varieties of coffee such as Ironka, Bobang and Katim. Ironka and Bobang belong to small-grain Arabica. Katim is the medium seed of the cross between Arabica and Robusta.

The ability of the iron pickup to resist diseases and insect pests and drought is poor, and those who leave dead coffee fruits on the treetops are the iron card seeds. By contrast, Katim looks more exuberant, and the leaves on the treetops have not fallen off, so there is generally no sign of death.

Yunnan's highest altitude polar coffee, Katim & Kaddura, in the austere mountains, rock and sandy land, rich in minerals, hard beans.
