Introduction of front street Colombian Donald micro-batch small farm iron pickup coffee

Colombia's southern provinces (Huila, Cauca, Tolima and Nari?o) are made up almost entirely of small farms, ranging from 4, 000 to 6, 000 feet above sea level. These small farms are small, usually about 10 acres, and there are two or three acres of farms that used to export coffee beans mixed with each other. Although the overall quality is good and more competitive than coffee from large-scale farms in northern Colombia (Antioquia, Bucaramanga and Medellin provinces), it is still difficult to produce "amazing work."

Small farms in the south began to change their traditional practice and sell their own coffee beans separately. A small farm produces only about 10 sacks of coffee a year, and some even have only one sack of coffee beans. This is what we now call "Micro-lot" coffee. Due to the unique microclimatic environment and intensive cultivation of farmers, coffee from each small farm has its own characteristics, and its quality is much higher than that of traditional mixed coffee from many farms, and there are often "overjoyed" discoveries. Although the price of coffee is much higher than ordinary commercial grade coffee and "Fairtrade coffee" in Colombia, it is still a hot item in the market.

Micro-lot refers to high-quality coffee in small (or small) batches. Unlike the usual sense of producing area beans or manor beans, the source range of micro-batch coffee may be smaller, such as a small farmer in a cooperative, or a field in an estate, all of which are based on Cupping results, 10KG as a unit of a small sack.

Colombian coffee is mostly washed, and every small farmer family has a small special processor (Ecomill or Eco-Pulper). The harvested coffee fruit is poured into it, which removes not only the peel and pulp, but also most of the pectin, and only a very small amount of water is needed. Next, the shell beans with a small amount of pectin will go into a small pool or container, which may be a cement pool (some tiles) or a stainless steel bucket that will ferment overnight and loosen the residual pectin. Rinse with clean water the next day, and the washing process is completed.
