Qianjie-introduction to Yega Chuefei Coffee
Why is it called Yega Xuefei?
Yega Sheffield Coffee refers to the coffee from the Yega Sheffei producing area in Ethiopia. Yejia Xuefei is the name of a local town, about 1700 to 2100 meters above sea level. This place has been a wetland since ancient times. The ancient saying "yirga" means to settle down, and "cheffe" means "wetland", so "Yega Xuefei" means "Let us settle down in this wetland". Yega Sheffield is one of the highest coffee producing areas in Ethiopia on average. Now Yejashafi coffee has become synonymous with Ethiopian boutique coffee.
Planting conditions
Coffee trees are mostly planted in farmers' own backyards or mixed with farmland and other crops, with little yield per household, which is a typical pastoral coffee. These mountain villages are foggy, like spring all year round, with a gentle breeze in summer, cool but not hot, rain but not damp, and no cold damage in winter, giving birth to a unique flavor of citrus and flowers.
Although the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee is petite, it is gentle and delicate and sweet.
In terms of treatment, Yega Chuefei is traditionally solarization, and Yejassefi uses the oldest sun treatment. However, since 1972, Ethiopia has introduced water washing technology from Central and South America in order to improve its quality, which makes the jasmine and citrus aromas of Yega Xuefei clearer and more refined, and has become one of the best beans in the world. Superb washing technology is indispensable. As the hometown of coffee, thousands of years of planting history and processing tradition in Ethiopia have created high-quality washed Arabica beans.
The 'Yejia Chefe' flavor has strong aromas of jasmine, lemon, peach, almond and tea. Tasting experience has only one sentence: coffee entrance, flowers in full bloom! Just like a flower touches the comfort of taste buds and olfactory cells in the nasal cavity.
In addition to the fragrance of the flowers, the delicate mellow thickness (body) is like a silk massage in the mouth. Lightly baked Yejaschenne has unique lemon, floral and honey sweet aromas, soft acidity and citrus flavors, fresh and bright on the palate.
Knowledge: there are thousands of different kinds of coffee in Ethiopia. Divided into east and west half walls by the East African Rift Valley
