Red Pacamara

In the cup test, you can taste citric acid at the front end, and in the rest of the taste, you will taste the bright hops all the way. It has a creamy edge and the sweet taste of other washed coffee on the farm; a unique and insignificant place that won't last long.

Yellow Pacamara

I never felt the need to tell you the color of the Pacamaras we had in the past, because I had only seen red. In fact, my search didn't show any other yellow Pacamara sold before. Some countries use some of them for seedlings, but none of them can reach the level of the Mierisch family.

This comes from this year's special auction, called Los Favoritos Fincas Mierisch, where some very special lots were sold to the highest bidder. I watched the two batches and was bidding, but had to give up one of them before I had to sell my kidneys. But having one person going to Japan and one person going to England is a great opportunity to try something special.

Two years ago, I first met this yellow Pacamara when I was visiting the farm. I begged Owen to sell us something, but he told me that they were using all the crops to grow more seedlings to grow more coffee, but it would be available soon.

So why is it so rare? Well, it was a strange natural mutation from red fruit to yellow and was discovered by farm security guards. They isolated it, harvested more seedlings, and moved on.

In the cup test, this is as special as the price, sweet peaches, apricots and yellow fruits. With creamy aromas of pineapple and tropical fruits.
