Production area introduction

Bali Kintamani Natural Grainpro comes from a family farm in Kintamani Heights, Bali Island Province, Indonesia. Coffee is grown in the volcanic soil of Mount Argonne, while citrus trees provide shade and another source of income. Coffee production is usually organized around Subak Abian, an ecologically sustainable irrigation system developed by Indian clergy a thousand years ago, who practice Tri Hita Karana (the three sources of prosperity), a philosophy that focuses on the coordination between the environment, man and God. During Royal's overseas trip in 2009, he put forward the idea of naturally processed coffee to solve the problem of water shortage. Given that the raised bed has been used to dry parchment, this is an easy step to dry the entire ripe cherry.
