Papua New Guinea (Independent State of Papua New Guinea, PNG)

Papua New Guinea is an island country in the western South Pacific and the second largest country in Oceania. Papua near Guinea Coffee is located in Oceania, with plains and lowlands in the south of Papua New Guinea and a central mountain system in the middle, where most of the coffee is grown. People here regard the beautiful bird of paradise as a bird of freedom and joy, a "gift from the gods". Like the migration of birds, it was bred by the Jamaican Blue Mountain Tippica on a long journey to Papua New Guinea, with the same lineage of the Jamaican Blue Mountains. It belongs to mountain climate, and the rest of the lower altitude areas belong to tropical rain forest climate. The dry season is from May to October and the rainy season is from November to April. The average temperature in the coastal area is 21.1-32.2 ℃, and the mountain area is 5-6 ℃ lower than that in the coastal area. The average annual precipitation is 2500 mm. Papua New Guinea has a detached and primitive natural environment and its land is vast and fertile. Its unique volcanic rock soil and abundant rainfall create excellent natural conditions for the growth of coffee. The coffee here is full of particles and moderate acidity, which is a rare high-alcohol and medium-acidity coffee with mellow taste. It has pleasant acidity and fruity sweetness.

Coffee from Papua New Guinea was first introduced by Dutch sailors in the late 18th century. It was planted in the 1890s and was introduced to Papua New Guinea from Jamaica in 1931. Bourbon coffee beans were introduced from Kenya in 1950. Since moving to New World and Kaddura from Brazil in 1962, the quality of coffee beans in Papua New Guinea has made a great leap forward.
