Last Updated: 2024/07/27, Jeju Island in South Korea was formed by undersea volcanoes millions of years ago. At first, there were only volcanic rocks and volcanic lava caves formed over the years. Today, these lava caves have been discovered and activated one after another, and some of them have even become national scenic spots.

The cafe was discovered by tea farmers in 2006. It is said that when the owner of the green tea garden first bought the place, he only planted green tea, but inadvertently found a natural cave under the hillside. After being approved by the government, the owner decided to transform it into a teahouse and coffee shop to entertain tourists with home-grown green tea and coffee hot drinks.
