Coffee grinder round blade and parallel blade (flat plate) blade
For brewing and cooking Espresso, you need a special bean grinder that can grind coffee beans, while the special bean grinder, according to the shape of the blade, can be roughly divided into two types: round blade and parallel (flat) blade. As for the use of bean grinder, you have to make a choice according to the bean seed used or the taste of Espresso you want to cook. When grinding coffee beans, the round blade grinder can rotate 400,600 times in a minute, while the parallel blade can rotate 1400 to 1600 times in a minute. The more times the blade rotates, the more times the grinder will heat up and turn to the coffee bean to be heated and lose its delicacy. In terms of this point, perhaps the circular bean grinder is more suitable for grinding coffee beans, however, in terms of the uniformity of the grinding powder. Parallel (flat) blade is more dominant, circular blade grinder, because of its blade shape, ground coffee powder is easy to produce uneven grinding, coarse and fine particle concentration among them, on the contrary, parallel (flat) blade bean grinder. Because the two blades rotate in parallel to grind the coffee beans, they can be ground into a uniform thickness. If the coffee powder is uneven, the extract of Espresso will be unstable.
In addition, if the roasted coffee beans are ground with a round blade grinder, because some of the particles will be coarse, and the seasoning will not come out, on the contrary, if the deep-roasted coffee beans are ground with a parallel (flat plate) blade grinder, it will make the taste too bitter because of the fine particles. However, no matter what kind of bean grinder is used, the blade will gradually become blunt under long-term use, therefore, the round blade grinding machine in grinding about 100kg coffee beans, parallel (flat plate type) blade grinding machine in grinding about 500Kg coffee beans, it should be replaced with a new blade, if the blade becomes blunt, even if the grinding scale is set, it will be unstable because of uneven grinding of coffee beans.

The source of the bitterness of coffee? Why is coffee bitter?
Everyone thinks that caffeine is the cause of the bitter taste of coffee, but in fact, caffeine accounts for only 10% of the bitter ingredients. As we said earlier, the concentration of caffeine in roasted beans is not affected by the degree of roasting, and decaf coffee also tastes bitter, so we can be sure that caffeine is not the whole cause of bitterness. So what is the other 90% bitterness?
