Panamanian Coffee Manor Jade Manor introduces Rosa Coffee beans
Emerald manor first. This coffee farm, located on the slopes of Baru in southwest Panama, was originally a comprehensive farm. Coffee cultivation was only one part of the farm's economic activities. Other economic activities included dairy farming and citrus cultivation. At the end of the last century, the Peterson family, the owners of the farm, accidentally discovered a coffee variety with great potential, Gesha(this discovery is quite legendary, I will describe it in another essay), after careful cultivation, harvesting, processing, and finally from 2004 onwards, this bean has been competing for several years, winning a series of coffee competitions, showing Gesha's "king", and even some people praise Gesha as "the coffee kissed by God". Today Gesha has become a staple of coffee plantations in Central America. Gesha from different estates has some outstanding performances, but among many competitors, Gesha from Emerald Estate still ranks at the top with its unique flavor and stable high quality. In addition to Gesha, Emerald Manor also grows other varieties of coffee, such as Catuai and Caturra. Although the quality is also very good, it is quite inferior when placed together with Gesha. So Emerald Manor offers Gesha, a single variety of coffee beans, for auction, but there are a number of different numbered batches. The reason why there are different batches is that some external conditions, such as planting area (microclimate and geographical conditions are different), treatment method (sun or water washing, different methods), etc., will affect the final coffee flavor.
To return to Inchter Hall, one must first understand its surroundings. Huehuetenango is a plateau southwest of Guatemala, adjacent to Mexico's Tehantepec District to the northwest, and Inchter Manor is located in a valley of the plateau, with the mouth facing Mexico. The height at which coffee is grown in the garden ranges from 1500 to 2000 meters above sea level. Anyone who knows anything about coffee growing knows that frost is the biggest killer of coffee trees purely in terms of climate factors.
A short-term frost damage may destroy almost all coffee trees in the coffee garden, so when planting coffee, you must avoid possible frost damage. Temperature is closely related to latitude and altitude, and the farther from the equator (the higher the latitude), the lower the planting altitude. At the latitude of Inchter Estate (about 15.34 degrees latitude), it is difficult to avoid frost damage at an altitude of 1500 meters. However, the warm wind blowing from the Tetrontepec area to the southern valley has formed excellent protection, so that the average temperature of Inchter Estate can be maintained at 18 - 22 degrees. This is the best temperature for coffee growth, and it also makes Inchter one of the highest plantations in the world at the same latitude. However, natural conditions are not the only factors that make Inht a great coffee estate. The intention of the operator is more important. For example,
