The menus are all in English. What's the interest?

The walls are full of English introductions, such as walking into a coffee shop in New York. Kuan has not specially designed a Chinese menu to meet the needs of Taiwanese. She hopes that everyone will not panic and can ask questions if they do not understand.

Her accent doesn't fool people. She grew up in Canada, studied marketing in Vancouver, went to New York to study fashion design, and returned to Taiwan ten years later to open a coffee shop. Because of his growing background, Kuan hopes that languages can be easily exchanged here. Weekly English reading clubs, from new poems to story sharing, will allow Taiwanese to communicate with foreigners. Don't take it so seriously!

The coffee shop as the smallest "quantum"

Kuantum, taken from her surname Guan and the homonym of quantum, the smallest unit in the world, is where everything begins. Kafe is a coffee shop under the brand, and clothing, graphic design and interior design are all the direction of future development.

Since it is operated under the concept of a brand, this store certainly does not only sell coffee, but also has a wide variety of clothes and accessories hanging on the walls. Weekly activities include tarot cards, resident singing performances and English book clubs.

"Nothing Fancy,Just Great Koffee", here is simple but beautiful coffee, the decoration is not so simple, Kuan wants to express: "retro and modern, cold with warmth." She used the word "paradox"-an unexpected sense of conflict, hoping to become a small force that brings together culture, music and art.

An unrespected printing experience

"when there's no one, God, I'm going crazy!" But within a year, she slowly made word of mouth and adjusted her mindset. When there were few guests, it was her time to focus on design, and insisting on selling good coffee and making handmade desserts was a way to relax and get close to the brand.

When she was printing the coffee cup cover, the pattern on the cup cover was obviously distorted, but the factory boss said coldly, "No one is looking at the packaging, everyone is just drinking drinks." this made her very frustrated. She not only lost a sum of money, but also felt a general disrespect for design environment.

Don't give up anything you can.

Do design during the day, do activities at night, and find time to bake beans after closing the shop. Similarly, 24 hours a day, can a person hold live in this store? Kuan said bluntly, "it's okay, because he's young enough."

In more than 20 seats, she skillfully accommodated cafes, clothing stores, book clubs, and even singing performances in person. Although the Kuantum kafe space was small, she did not give up any possibility.
