Kiaguthu is a treatment plant located on the slopes of the Abedares Mountains in Neri District. The altitude is about 1800- 2000 meters. The factory was also a co-operative, buying coffee cherries grown by nearby farmers for processing and managed by a committee. Farmers in the area are mainly Sl-28 and SL-34, with a small amount of Ruiru mixed together. Dry aromas ground when lightly roasted. Delicate sweet notes with sweet spices, ginger and cloves. The wet aroma after hot water is a combination of marmalade and clove soda, impressive sweetness, and a complex apple smell. The cup shows spice when hot, tea, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon, citrus flavors and acidity, grapefruit, orange and pear and plum subtle taste, very juicy.
