The coffee comes from a family-owned Hacienda La Pradera in Alatoca, Santander, Colombia. The manor is 100% organic and Rainforest Alliance certified, and coffee is grown between 1700 and 1900 meters. The family's coffee-growing tradition has improved crop harvesting techniques and product quality for more than 30 years. They also grow bananas, cassava and wood. Santander currently has about 42000 hectares of coffee, 90 per cent of which grows in the shade. The area is located in the north-central part of the country east of the Magdalena River. This mocha variety is very special with a very special appearance of small pods. This variety is famous for providing a very sweet and bold flavor. The new production season is expected to arrive in February 2018
