Sumatran Coffee introduction

Lake Tawa in Sumatra is an emerald Mantenin Sumatra Lake Tawar Mandheling, also known as Gayo Mandheling / Gayo Arabica / Takengon Mandheling. Lake Tawa is located in the Gayo mountains north of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam province in Sumatra. Indonesia, which spans both sides of the equator, has a humid tropical rain forest climate with abundant rainfall and rich volcanic loam soil that brings rich nutrients to coffee. However, due to the remote location and inconvenient transportation, coffee did not begin to be planted until 1924, and most of them adopted organic cultivation with traditional shade and no pesticides.

Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world. Arabica coffee was introduced and planted during the Dutch colonial period in the 18th century, until it became one of the top five coffee producing countries in the world. The main producing areas are Sumatra in Sumatra, Java in Java and Sulawesi in Sulawesi.

The northern part of Sumatra is relatively high above sea level, Aceh, Aceh province where Lake Tawar Lake Tawar is located, and North Sumatra where Lake Toba Lake Toba is located (Lindong Lintong is located in this province), two major Arabica coffee producing areas.
