Papua New Guinea is located in the east of Indonesia. It has a standard island climate. It is located between the equator and 10 degrees south latitude. It has tropical rain forest volcanic rocks and plateau terrain. It is a paradise for coffee cultivation at an altitude of 1,200-2,500 meters. Local production is small, with about 85% of coffee produced by smallholder garden systems. Smallholders join local cooperatives and share their treatment equipment.

Coffee is Pakistan's second largest export agricultural product, which shows the importance of coffee industry to Pakistan's economy. Due to the difference in coffee varieties from Indonesia, the elevation is higher than Sumatra, and the washing process, PNG coffee has a different regional flavor from Indonesia's stuffy and deep flavor, but has a bright, sour, fruity aroma, and South American flavor similar.

Siri/Bird of Paradise Estate is located in the Waghi Valley in the Western Highlands, about 1500 meters above sea level, with well-drained volcanic soil; the estate was founded in 1950 and has been more than 60 years old. It is the first industrial pioneer to grow coffee in the area. Due to its geographical location in the Southern Hemisphere, the coffee harvest season there is from May to August, which is different from the inter-annual harvest from October to February in Central and South America. The farm and surrounding farmers jointly manage a vast land of nearly 413 hectares. Only mature red coffee cherries are harvested and sent to the estate's own treatment plant for post-processing. However, the local washing treatment in New Guinea is different from that in Central America and South America. It uses three washing and fermentation, each time soaking for about 24 hours, and changing clean water to control the coffee flavor. After washing, the outer shell of the green beans is removed and then classified. For example: AA grade, AB grade, PB round beans and so on, such fine workmanship after the treatment method, for the coffee itself brings a bright and delicate fruit acid flavor, clean and long sweet taste.

SGL/Bird of Paradise Estate also attaches great importance to ecological issues in the park, planting two different shade trees to provide a good growth environment for coffee, but also provide a good habitat for birds, currently there are 90 different species of birds and wildlife in the park, is the best example of sustainable management of coffee estate.
