You told me you opened a coffee shop. Opening a coffee shop also happens to be one of my dreams, so I can't help but want to talk to you about how to run it.

My coffee shop probably plays jazz on Mondays, piano or violin sonatas on Tuesdays, pop music on Wednesdays, blues on Thursdays, world music on Fridays, opera or vocal music on Saturdays and Sundays. There is at least one lecture or book club every week, and live performances or performances are held on Saturdays and Sundays.

As for coffee, maybe it's Japanese-style coffee. I don't want to do Italian style. Then, I want to sell coffee beans, chat with guests, read books in my spare time, in the sunny afternoon, if there are no guests, quietly behind the bar, reading or writing books.

Okay, why didn't I open it? The first reason is that I already have a law firm; the second reason is that opening a coffee shop is not so romantic at all! My idea is a pipe dream!

The first thing to do in opening a coffee shop is to know how to distinguish beans. If you don't even know the basic principle of baking and think that Blue Mountain is the best, then you can't even cross the threshold. Next, you need to know how to make coffee. You don't only know how to use that machine. Whether it's Japanese, Italian or American, you probably have to "know" a little, just like Zhuge Liang, otherwise you won't be able to make your own good coffee.

Then, you have to start to estimate the cost, the fixed cost of opening a store, the water and electricity bill, the purchase cost, and the rent. How much will be incurred in a month, and how many cups of coffee do you think you can sell? How much is the net profit of one cup? How to pay the cost? You know, your time is not free. When you stay in a coffee shop, you must be in the shop for at least 14 hours from getting ready for business to the end of business. You can't close the shop to rest at will, and you can't go abroad if you have to. If you take a vacation, you must have a substitute, who, like you, has a passion for coffee. In other words, your hourly salary is likely to be lower than that of a working student.

Even so, do you still want to open a shop?

It is not without successful coffee shops, but they only start when they are fully prepared. These days, you are not sure to succeed if you want to be a boss. The key point is, why on earth do you want to open a shop? Life is fair, if it is to dream, then you have to sacrifice material; if it is to make money, you have to do all the evaluation and preparation. The most important thing is, why do you think that coffee shop owners do not know how to brew coffee, know the characteristics of coffee beans, or know how to roast?

Also, you think you can make money by serving light meals? That's a more wrong idea. Simple meals will completely cover up the aroma of coffee in the store, and once you prepare a meal, you are not a special cook, how can you make dishes that make customers feel delicious? Moreover, meals will reduce the "table turning rate". Do you want customers to order a cup of coffee and sit for a day with a meal? In theory, font color= "# FF0000" > you should spend some time teaching customers to buy coffee beans and utensils in your store. These are the sharp tools for you to make money. You should not let the income from selling coffee in the store be the main source. You will starve to death. You have no specialty, you will give what the guests want, this concept is not correct, really want to open a coffee shop, is to let customers know your professional and enthusiasm, give anything, you will not get anything.

Finally, it is not easy to be a boss, only money and time, then be a shareholder, do not easily get involved in a certain industry, do not understand the profession to be the boss, the end is to lose money to come out, only get endless litigation, or a life experience in exchange for money.

I said so much because I was worried that the lawyer fee you appointed before could not be paid. Come on!
