India: spicy aroma and hierarchy
India is the third largest coffee producer in Asia after Vietnam and Indonesia, and the output of Arabica species ranks first in Asia. The Arabica species in the country account for about 45% of the output, while the Robusta species account for about 55%. About 90% of the production is Robusta, which is one of the few producers in Africa. The yield of Arabica species is small and is mainly grown in the foothills of Mount Elgon. Coffee flavor is different from neighboring Kenya or Ethiopia, you can taste high-quality Arabica coffee.
