The first batch of 2018 obtained by the Colonna came from the prestigious Guji region, and the washing plant is the Wuli Hill washing plant in Harowachu, which handles 5000 small farmers nearby. After the coffee is sent to the Wuliqiu water washing plant, it is graded according to its quality. after peeling, it is fermented for 48 to 72 hours to soften the molecular structure of raw beans, then wash the mucus attached to it with clean water and dry it on an elevated bed for 9-12 days. finally, the beans of better quality were screened again.

There are many kinds of beans in Ethiopia, and because they cannot be separated one by one, they have always been referred to as "Ethiopian native species", and this batch is rarely classified as a "bourbon" batch.
