Kaddura

A summer as fresh and pleasant as berries

Kaddura is a natural variety of Arabica variety bourbon.

(note: due to historical reasons, Arabica varieties are often called small-grain coffee species in Yunnan. Ironka and bourbon are the two major native species of Arabica and are the prototypes of all coffee trees. )

Kaddura first discovered in 1937 in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, that it has high yield, high quality, resistance to leaf rust, shorter trees and easy picking, but the planting cost is also high. like the native species bourbon, it has a two-year production capacity fluctuation cycle.

Although found in Brazil, Kaddura is not suitable for growing in Brazil, so it is not planted on a large scale in Brazil, but is popular in Central and South America, such as Colombia, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Kaddura is planted on a large scale.

In the 1970s, soybean prices soared and farmers switched to Kaddura to increase production, which was vigorously promoted by the Brazilian and Colombian authorities and yielded fruitful results.
