El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America and the most densely populated country. Coffee beans are the main crops in most regions, but don't forget its existence because of its miniature. 60% of the coffee in El Salvador is Bourbon varietal bourbon, such as orange, pink bourbon, red bourbon and so on. Bourbon gives the impression of excellent cleanliness, bright and sweet taste. It is worth noting that El Salvador is the sovereign country of Pacas, Pacamara varietals Pacas and Pacamara coffee species. Coffee beans are harvested only once a year, between November and February of the following year, so newly harvested coffee is usually shipped to foreign coffee buyers from June to August. Compared with coffee farms in other Central and South American countries, most of the farms in El Salvador are medium-sized. With great enthusiasm and expertise, farmers produce high-quality coffee cherries, which has boomed the coffee export market and improved the quality of coffee beans, as Salvadorans say, as long as you take a sip of coffee and you smile.
H.I.Q (High Quality), as its name implies, is a high-quality coffee bean, a development project to help improve the quality of small farms. Similar to the Ethiopian Red Cherry Project, H.I.Q will look for special high-quality farms such as miniature, variety, treatment, climate and so on. Then educate farmers to comply with H.I.Q production standards, including measuring the sugar content of coffee cherries and maintaining organic care for the production land. Its farms build updated processing equipment to make the whole process comply with H.I.Q standards, but only a cup of coffee with a score of more than 85 points is called H.I.Q coffee. H.I.Q currently has cooperative farms in El Salvador, Panama and Ethiopia. (Taiwan has invited H.I.Q personnel to Taiwan to guide the production of Alishan coffee.) the coffee produced is rare and unique, highlighting that the difference from ordinary coffee is more in line with the coffee consumers want. (the project moderator is the owner of Los Lojoness Farm in Panama.)
H.I.Q Malacara Manor LC 2 Farm in El Salvador is the burgeoning bourbon honey bean. Founded in 1888, Jos é Guillermo Alvarez Prunera, now in charge of farm management, and his sister are fourth-generation coffee growers who produced the best coffee in El Salvador in the early 20th century. Now there are five farms offering 20 permanent jobs, which can be expanded to 100 people during the harvest. There is a school in the farm community. A clinic and some sports facilities are available to employees free of charge. Due to good quality and low production, coupled with a strict production process, MALACARA is the award-winning estate of the second Cup of Excellence Presidential Award Winner Salvador Cup test, and coffee is sold to the United States, Japan and the Netherlands.
