Panama's Casa Luis Estate, founded in 1920, is located in the Boquete region of Baru Volcano, in the Boquete Valley of the skirt of Baru Volcano in northwestern Panama. Mr. Plinio Antonio Ruiz Gonzalez and his wife, Mrs. Elisa Aurora Arauz de Ruiz is the second generation successor of this estate. The couple is mainly responsible for the trading of coffee beans. Today, they own three estates La Berlina, Maunier, Panamaria and CAFE RUIZ.

Casa Luis was founded in 1979 as one of the most famous cooperatives in the Borquez district of Baru Volcano. Its headquarters are located in the valley of Baru Volcano's crony belt. The family has been inherited for three generations and now has cooperative relations with more than 300 small family farms and estates. Unlike other cooperatives, which increase acreage at the expense of the environment in order to increase yields, Casarluis and his partners grow coffee in the traditional, environmentally friendly way in the Boqui region. Casa Luis is not only the winner of the Best of Panama bid, but also an important partner of Panama's fine raw beans. As one of the best estates of Panama, at the 2004 international bidding meeting, the price of each pound of raw beans was marked at 20 US dollars. In May 2004, it first appeared in the Panama Cup test competition, and since then it has been monopolized. In 2013, it has set a record high price of 350 US dollars per pound of raw beans.

Almost a century has passed since Robert Lamastus planted the first coffee tree at Elida Manor in 1918, and it is now the third generation of the Lamastus family, Mr. Wilford, who is in charge.

Eridah Manor ranges from 1700 to 2300 meters above sea level, part of which is located in Volcan Baru, Panama Volcano National Park.

National Park (VBNP) is a refuge for rare plants, birds and mammals. The estate has a total of 65 hectares, of which only 30 hectares are planted with coffee varieties including Catuai, Geisha and Typica, and the rest of the area is within the VBNP protected ecological reserve. Over the years, Wilford has refined and refined batch management, offering high-quality Elida coffee in three treatments: washed, honeyed and sunburned; roasters from around the world select their favorite microbatches of Elida coffee based on cup flavor.

Elida's flavor is produced in a unique climate and geographical location for several reasons: Elida Manor is one of Panama's highest coffee farms, growing coffee in rich young volcanic soils, in low temperatures and surrounded by clouds, avoiding direct sunlight during the dry season; Wild trees in the pristine rainforest bring a lot of beneficial microorganisms, cold nights lengthen the ripening cycle of coffee trees to four and a half to six and a half years (two to four years longer than the average), and the ripening time of coffee berries is also extended by a month, all of which affect the flavor of the final coffee.

Volcan Baru National Park (VBNP) is one of the highest volcanoes in Central America. It covers an area of 14000 hectares and is divided into seven different climatic zones according to altitude. Elida and El Burro are part of it.
