Yunnan Arabica Bourbon AA Grade Green Bean
The west and south of Yunnan Province are located between 15° N and Tropic of Cancer, most of which are 1000-2000 meters above sea level. The terrain is mainly mountainous and sloping, with large undulations, fertile soil, abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall and large temperature difference between day and night. These unique natural conditions form the particularity of Yunnan Arabica coffee taste-strong but not bitter, fragrant but not strong, slightly fruity.
Yunnan coffee production areas and main varieties
Yunnan coffee is mainly distributed in Baoshan, Simao, Yuxi, Dehong and other 11 prefectures and cities.
Yunnan mainly cultivated Arabica coffee, varieties have "Kent S288","Tie Bika","Bo Bang". These varieties have good adaptability, high yield and mellow taste, which are very popular with consumers. Tibika and Bo Bang, two classic coffee varieties, are the main cultivated varieties of Yunnan coffee, belonging to Arabian species (also known as Arabicus species). Because of the similarity of morphology and habits of these two varieties, they are often mixed and cultivated. The tender leaves of wave top buds are green, called green top coffee; the top leaves of iron pica are red copper, called red top coffee. Originated in Ethiopia. It was first introduced from Myanmar by Ruili border people in 1914 and planted in Nongxian Stronghold. This variety has good adaptability and high yield, with a yield of 150- 200 kg per mu. Taste fragrant alcohol, is a high-quality varieties; but easily susceptible to rust and susceptible to longicorn damage, suitable for dry valley planting. In 1994, the province planted 870 hectares (25% of the coffee planting area) and produced 735 tons. It is mainly distributed in Baoshan Lujiangba area.
Yunnan Baoshan top-grade (AA grade) Bobang coffee, although it is top-grade, but it can be seen that there is still a need for further processing machinery, incomplete, damaged coffee beans or a little bit. Because it is a new bean, the water content is relatively large, so the quality loss after baking is relatively large. To achieve a more uniform coffee roasting effect, the green beans are 7.5 ounces, about 213 grams, slightly below the maximum roasting amount. Room temperature is about 24 degrees Celsius.
