Many European cities have their own indicator cafes, each famous for its own history, decoration, coffee and cuisine. Vienna is no exception. As one of the two major coffee cultures in Europe, cafes are an important part of Vienna, and some coffee is even named after this city.

Central Cafe (cafe Central)

The Central Cafe in Vienna opened in 1860 and has a history of more than 150 years. The building was formerly a bank and stock exchange.

Now it is named Palais Ferstel of Felster Palace after its architect Felster Heinrich von Ferstel.

In the late 19th century, it became a gathering place for Vienna intellectuals.

Now, a hundred years later, it has become a pilgrimage place for tourists from all over the world to come to Vienna.

The Central Cafe opens at 7:30 (10:00 on Sundays) and opens until 10:00 in the evening.

In addition to coffee and desserts, the cafe also offers a choice of meals, including breakfast, daily alternative lunch menus and formal dinner menus

There is also piano playing at dinner time 17: 00 / 00 / 22 / 00

The poet Peter Ettenberg (Peter Altenberg;1859-1919) once regarded the Central Cafe in Vienna as a place more like home than home. In winter, order a cup of Melange covered with milk foam, warm the body and heart, and then write articles, this is his life.

"if I'm not in the cafe, I'm on my way to the cafe." Eittenberg said.

Eittenberg's original text is: "Wenn der Altenberg nicht im Kaffeehaus ist, ist er am Weg dorthin". (actually put your name in the sentence.)

Eittenberg even uses the address of the cafe as his home e-mail address. Is the cafe more like home than home?

Today's Central Cafe retains the atmosphere of the 19th century and permanently retains Eittenberg's favorite seat. As soon as I entered the cafe, I could see the wax figure of Eittenberg sitting in it, just like the old days.

On that day, when we first arrived in Vienna, we went straight to the Central Cafe after check-in for the same reason as the poet, "I need a cup of warmth."

I ordered Cafe Central Kaffee, the signature coffee of the Central Cafe, which is a double espresso and a little apricot wine, and then covered with whipped cream (Double espresso with apricot liqueur and whipped cream).

After a taste, the alcohol brought out a strong aroma of coffee, and sure enough, the whole body was warm.

Havica Caf é Hawelka

Havica Cafe is located on the corner of the Trinity Pillar (the Black death Pillar).

In the crowded cafe, the seats are more closely spaced, but the seats are full. Almost all the guests ordered a cup of coffee and then read the newspaper carefully.

Without a menu, we couldn't figure it out. We didn't know how to order a cup of coffee when we first came to Vienna. I asked the waitress what kind of coffee they had. She read several kinds but still couldn't understand them. Then I said I wanted some milk, and she asked if she wanted cream on top, and I said yes.

Then, I brought a typical cup of Viennese coffee, namely Melange, which turned out to be the most common Viennese coffee. I have finally come to understand the coffee language of Vienna.

The Havica Cafe was jointly opened by Leopold Hawelka and his wife Josefine in 1936. Today's cafe is run by his son after two operators died (Leopold died at the age of 100 in 2011).

Havica Cafe is my favorite Nayena Cafe, the small space is full of warm atmosphere, and everything is just right.

Caf é Residenz (Bear Brown Palace Schlo ²Sch ö nbrunn)

When visiting European palaces or museums, I often pay attention to the cafes attached to them, because there are often surprises.

Caf é Residenz of Bear Brown Palace is one of them.

Bear Brown Palace, as the summer palace of the Habsburg family, is also known as the Fountain Palace. it is worth visiting after the brilliant period of Maria Teresa and Princess Sisi, the baroque architecture of the court and the art of rococo.

Coffee é Residenz is most famous for its apple strudel, a must-eat dessert when you come to Vienna, with a soft and crisp outer layer wrapped in sweet and sour apple pies. Unlike French apple pies, Vienevi apple rolls are rolled inside, so they retain a complete moist taste, a different taste, and very delicious.

Kaiser Franz Josef Kaffee, this is flavored with brandy, coffee wine, and then, of course, thick whipped cream, sprinkled with cinnamon, and enjoy the Viennese coffee as much as possible in Vienna.

Demel Cafe (The Demel)

The Sacher Torte in Vienna is very famous, but I don't like chocolate, so I don't care much about it. But Demel Cafe has argued with Caf é Sacher, another century-old shop (we have been there) about who started the lawsuit, which is quite noisy.

Demel Cafe is located in front of Michelle Square Michaelerplatz in front of Hofburg, on Cormack Avenue (Kohlmarkt), this street is very easy to visit and poetic street, whether after visiting Hofburg or shopping, Demel Cafe will be the best rest corner.

Demel Cafe has a history of more than 200 years. The space in the store is a space, an area, or a corner of the distributed space, and each has different decoration and decoration.

There is also a bright space with a glass curtain, where cakes and chocolates are made and can be seen by all guests.

We came to Demel Cafe for brunch, a basket of hot bread with cream, jam and honey, and lovely Austrian sausages.
