Ana Sora is a rare single coffee farm in Ethiopia, located in the Guji district, the owner of the estate, Israel Defga, is already a second-generation operator. Founded in 2010, the estate has a land area of 250ha, of which 150ha is for coffee cultivation, with an average elevation of 1900 to 2350 m. Recently, it has been expanded to grow coffee, citing abundant water sources along the Turo River to set up washing stations to produce waterwashed beans. Ana Sora also subsidizes nearby orphanages to provide a higher level of education village, hoping to give back to the local community so that they can have a better life. The rise of Guji can be said to be one of several important development trends in Ethiopia in recent years.
