Siguri Manor originated in the Wahgi Valley in the western highlands in 1950. It produces high-quality Arabica coffee. There is a very strict quality control process. From the beginning of harvest, quality control begins: coffee beans are harvested manually and carefully checked for defective beans to see if they are ripe coffee cherries with rich and balanced acidity and sweetness. After that, it will be treated in the traditional way, using a lot of water and going through complicated procedures. Especially in the process of fermentation, after three consecutive days of washing and soaking coffee beans with a lot of water, unlike the biggest in other producing areas, all coffee beans are completely soaked in water, thus creating a very special flavor. After the washing process, the subsequent drying does not use machine drying, but completely uses the sun to make the coffee more rich in flavor.
Although the AA bird of paradise at Sigley Manor has been famous in the Taiwan market for a long time, what is more special is that it has certified round beans for the rare PB Rainforest Alliance and bears the green frog logo of "Rainforest Alliance Certification Rainforest Alliance Certified."
Located in the east of the Indonesian archipelago, Papua New Guinea, which is dominated by highlands, has a pattern of large manors / farms and small farmers, growing a variety of coffee varieties. Large estates / farms (plantation) usually have their own washing plants, and smaller individual coffee farmers are more likely to control the quality and flavor of their output. Like many large farms / estates have their own washing plants, but in fact this is a manor owned by many independent coffee farmers of the surrounding Opais nationality, in a sense, it is a private cooperative.
