What is cold coffee?

Cold-extracted coffee is soaked in coffee powder and cold water or water at room temperature. It takes a long time to soak and can extract the taste of coffee to the maximum extent.

In the process of coffee extraction, simple physical diffusion and some chemical reactions will occur. In the physical reaction, temperature has a great influence on the diffusion rate of matter, and it will also change the solubility of matter. There are some chemical reactions that require temperature as a prerequisite. So the flavor of coffee extracted with ice water is completely different.

Cold-extracted coffee can fully reflect the subtle taste characteristics of coffee, and due to the low water temperature, the acidity of coffee is more mild. Cold extracted coffee made from good coffee beans tastes sweet, bright and soft.

Make cold extracted coffee

1. Prepare a cold coffee bag.

2. Soak in normal temperature water. (usually the ratio of powder to water at 1:10)

3. put the soaked coffee in the refrigerator and refrigerate for 12 hours.

Make honey lemon

1. First scrub the lemons with salt, then rinse with clean water to dry the skin stains.

Make soda, iced lemon, cold extracted coffee

1. Add an appropriate amount of ice to the cup and pour in the cold extracted coffee made in advance by 150ml.

2. Add two slices of pickled lemon and two tablespoons of honey lemon juice (about 10ml) and stir well.

3. Pour in 100ml or so aerated soda (original Paris water and so on), stir and drink.
