With an annual rainfall of 1200 mm to 1599 mm and an elevation of about 1700-2200 meters, Godio is jointly produced by about 25000 small coffee farmers. In addition to selected high-quality batches, they are also mixed and treated in a washing plant. At the end of 2016, inter-tribal conflicts led to massive property losses in the region, fires and riots damaged many coffee production facilities and factories, while rare frosts destroyed thousands of hectares of coffee trees. But despite all these tribulations, the people of Godeo are still energetic, hopeful and moving forward to produce better coffee.

In the local language, Botabaa means garden, while the Ethiopian plateau is the birthplace of the Nile, so the bean has a good name for the Nile garden. The local traditional washing method not only retains the natural aroma and producing area characteristics of coffee to the greatest extent, but also really gives the soothing flavor of bean garden, such as lavender, sweet oregano and other vanilla. Citrus and apricot-like juices also give pleasure to the taste buds from beginning to end. At the same time, the exquisite greenhouse sun drying method is used in the drying process, which invests in high-intensity human labor, isolates the contact between coffee and the ground, prevents the miscellaneous smell of soil in the process of sun drying, and creates an extremely clean fruit flavor.
