Generally speaking, Nicaraguan coffee has no distinctive characteristics, and ordinary Nicaraguan beans are often used as mixed coffee or instant coffee.
But Nicaragua's Maragogipe (a tree with huge coffee beans called elephant beans) has a high rating in the industry because of its well-balanced taste, lack of the distinct acidity that other Central American coffees often have, a clear taste and excellent aroma. This round and soft texture also makes it a unique show in the moderate evaluation of Nicaraguan coffee and is loved by many people.
