Recently, a piece of news called "Yong'an guy's coffee shop crowdfunded books, old books for coffee, borrow all free" went viral on Weibo and Wechat moments. These books are obtained by the public in exchange for coffee with the shop owner, and the public can have the right to read the "small library" books at will.

On November 18, the reporter found the yy Venture Cafe, which is located on Xinliu Road, Yanxi Street, Yong'an: grey concrete floor, whitewashed brick wall, blue-painted roof. As the founder of Yong'an 's first start-up coffee, Zheng Zhi, a 31-year-old shopkeeper, originally wanted to build a platform for entrepreneurs and investors to communicate with each other. "Coffee for clunkers" was designed to attract popularity online, but the response was good. Only four days after opening, it attracted many citizens to donate books.

A person's "willfulness"

Unlike traditional coffee shops, a large four-story bookshelf with more than 70 books of all kinds is set up at the entrance of yy Cafe.

"these books are all traded for coffee," Zheng said. "one book for a cup of coffee," which is one of yy's start-up coffee activities. He said that he is a person who loves to read, and reading can change his mind. The original intention of yy Coffee is to benefit from the inspiration of "rich dad and poor dad." he hopes that through book crowdfunding activities, reading will become a trend and weather vane. With the cafe as the base, we can make friends with books and talk freely about our ideals.

Zheng Zhi said that his goal of crowdfunding books is 300 or more, which is something he is prepared to insist on for a long time. In order to do a good job in this activity and encourage everyone to share good books, on the basis of "exchanging a book for a cup of coffee", he came up with the follow-up "rules of the game", that is, if a book wants to be borrowed to read, the borrower should invite the owner of the book to have a cup of coffee.

Before that, Zheng Zhi, an account manager of a communications company in Yong'an, passed the full-time exam last year. His family and friends were surprised by his resignation. But this is not the first time he has been "capricious". In 2007, he was a senior majoring in e-commerce in Sunshine College of Fuzhou University. when other students were busy looking for an internship, he chose to start a business and open a shop, selling cartoons, decorations, toys and other animation products.

Since then, he went to Longyan, Xiamen, worked as a real estate agent and worked as an electrical salesman. In 2009, Zheng Zhi passed the examination and entered Sanming Mobile Company. Half a year later, he was transferred back to Yong'an, where he worked as a mobile client such as "Today Yong'an" mobile news and information APP.

Zheng Zhi, who resigned, did his own thing non-stop: getting married, going to Beijing for honeymoon and inspecting entrepreneurial projects, studying with friends in Zhengzhou and Wuhan, looking for partners, looking for storefronts, looking for funds.

Eight months later, that is, October 24 this year, the yy Venture Cafe founded by Zheng Zhi and his friends successfully opened with a registered capital of 300000 yuan. At noon that day, he posted the message on Wechat, and by evening, the click-through rate had reached more than 1800.

In addition to crowdfunding books and exchanging old books for coffee, this coffee shop is also a "circle of friends" for starting a business. Zhang Deshui, 39, is the owner of a Chinese wolfberry bud tea shop in Yong'an. From growing fruitless Chinese wolfberry to making Chinese wolfberry bud tea, and then opening a shop to sell, he has never stopped starting his own business. Now he wants to create his own trademark brand and expand the market through online sales channels, but he has been afraid to do so because of his limited knowledge and technology on the Internet.

By chance, he met Zheng Zhi, and the two left their contact information. Subsequently, with the help of Zheng Zhi, Zhang Deshui learned some Internet thinking and practical operation knowledge of network technology, and the two complemented each other in terms of knowledge, ideas, resources, and so on, and collided with many good ideas.

Like Zhang Deshui, at present, there are nearly 10 people in the entrepreneurial "moments" based on yy coffee, bringing together post-70s, post-80s and post-90s entrepreneurs, involving Yuezi chicken, old wine and many other industries.

In the past few days, Zheng Zhi and his entrepreneurial partners are planning the first project roadshow competition in Sanming City, making the project in the form of PPT and publicizing it to everyone, through on-site display to achieve the purpose of promoting and recruiting partners.

"We are not afraid of comparison or competition, so we 'show' the project openly, and then post this PPT on the Internet," says Zheng Chih. He hopes to establish a relatively perfect local cooperation mechanism, find good teams and projects, win-win cooperation and open management, which is the core of his start-up coffee.
