If you are a person who likes taking pictures and coffee culture, then you can forget Starbucks. In South Korea, a couple built a 9.2-meter-high coffee shop in the shape of a Lulai two-lens camera, realizing their own dream and that of many camera enthusiasts.

The man, Park Sung-hwan, dreamed of becoming an Air Force pilot when he was in primary school. Although his family did not support this dream, he persisted and eventually joined the army as a helicopter pilot in 2000. This is just one of his dreams, and the other, more passionate, is to build a dreamy cafe. So, after leaving the army, he and his wife Guo Xizhu built the world's first coffee shop on the outskirts of Seoul, South Korea, 65 kilometers away.

"in Korea, you often face a lot of questions about how to be yourself, because the resistance comes from traditional ideas," Park Sung-hwan said. "my wife and I want to build a place where anyone can share their stories and help people find their dreams, so the idea of a camera-themed cafe came up."

Park Sung-hwan became a camera collector about 12 years ago and had a passion for early classic film cameras. He first chose Leica and eventually decided to use Lulai camera styling because it was easier to achieve. In 2009, Park Sung-hwan sketched the camera cafe on a piece of cardboard and contacted several construction contractors before opening in 2012.
