There is no doubt that the best Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee beans are born at Wallenford Manor, and in fact another reason why the estate is highly respected by coffee fans around the world is its national treasure status.

Wallenford Coffee Limited, founded by Wallenford Manor, is now a private company wholly owned by the Jamaica government, in other words the only "state-owned" coffee estate in Jamaica. Only the best Blue Mountain coffee is selected for processing; the quality process is particularly strict; the yield is very limited... These factors have shaped the image of Wallenford Manor as the "most stable and reliable coffee processing estate", and its products are designated as the highest level of Blue Mountain coffee, which is usually selected by the royal aristocracy due to its high price.
