For example, in some small counties, if you open an ultra-minimalist style cafe, consumers will think that it is not worth spending a cup of coffee in such a place. They may like some luxurious styles, and people in small places will have a slow pace of life. Vanity will be stronger. In first-tier cities, there are not so many restrictions on such styles. People in big cities have a relatively fast pace of life and a clear classification of people, and basically all kinds of styles will have corresponding levels of people to consume.

2. The relationship between the style of coffee shop and the nature of business circle. To open a coffee shop in different business circles, there must be restrictions. Coffee shop owners cannot blindly emphasize their favorite style, at least first make it clear that in a specific business area, they are pursuing the "fast" of small profits and quick sales. or the pursuit of single cup high value-added "slow", space design is to a large extent to clarify this function. For example, in someone's super-angry shopping street, fashionable, simple and lively colors and open patterns can make the pace of consumption faster. If you make it too luxurious and too comfortable, it will only allow consumers to stay longer. Owners should consider raising the price of a single cup to cope with its cost. Of course, this is only from a simple level to look at the problem, there is no inevitability.

Generally speaking, the cafe to use which design style should be combined with the local consumption habits and the nature of the business area to judge, do not be too subjective to determine the style.

Functional part

When looking for a design company to design a cafe, coffee shop owners will focus on the visual part, while often ignore or belittle the functional part. In the interior design industry, in fact, there is also a division of labor, some are based on home decoration, some are based on tooling, and of course, some are mainly in the catering industry.

Find an inappropriate design company to design, there will be no major problems in the design stage, but as soon as the restaurant opens, a lot of functional problems begin to appear. The problem is mainly in two aspects.

Seating forms and arrangements in cafes

Home decoration-based design companies, they often focus on the visual aspect, the style of the coffee shop may be very clear, the effect may be very good, but they often ignore the psychology of consumers and the form of coffee shop operation. At the end of the day, either the seating arrangement is too single, or a certain area is overcrowded and no one likes to sit in a certain area. Or the region is too open, the loss of local privacy, resulting in the loss of part of the consumer group. Companies that focus on catering design tend to consider these problems in advance and provide more practical advice for the main business in advance. No one wants to close the door and fix it because of problems after the restaurant opens. Therefore, everything has to start with planning. without good planning, there will be no reasonable design thinking.

Professionalism of the work area

If the form of seating is not a big problem, then the layout and arrangement of the working area of the cafe is more professional and important. In view of the limitation of the special equipment hardware of the cafe, some parameters of the bar are fixed, in order to make the bar staff more efficient, the layout of the bar is adjusted and arranged reasonably according to the production project, so the layout of the bar has its own rule. but there is absolutely no fixed form, everything is made for the convenience of service.

Generally speaking, if you want to find a design company, you must find a design company with food and beverage design experience, and it will be better if you can find a company with coffee shop design experience. For coffee shop owners, besides paying attention to visual effects, functional planning is even more important. Vision is skin, function is meat, and both should be reasonable.
