Recently I read a book, which is one of the series of WithEating food posts, exploring the lifestyle of food. This episode focuses on coffee.
I'd like to share with you a few coffee shops that I can recommend, as well as miscellaneous things about coffee.

This is a store I have been to personally. When I was visiting Tokyo, I lived in the apartment building opposite the store. So, for five days in a row, I ran down to buy coffee, rain or shine. There are not many foreigners on the streets of Tokyo, but in this store, many foreigners can be seen walking on flip-flops to buy coffee every morning, while waiting to talk to baristas about the weather or the origin of beans. The barista in this shop is probably the best English person I have ever met in Japan.
According to the book, the owner of the coffee shop, who was born in 1983, was attracted by Australian coffee culture and went to Australia as a backpacker for a year. After returning to Japan, he studied coffee-related courses and founded the brand in 14 years.
This shop is very small, specializing in takeout, there is a long high table, but no chairs, you can wait inside when it rains.
The shop is on the corner, with white decoration, simple and clean. The whole coffee making process is open, in addition to the coffee itself, the process of waiting for coffee is also a kind of artistic enjoyment.
The largest number of guests in this shop is usually around 01:00 in the afternoon on weekdays, because many white-collar workers in the surrounding office buildings are used to taking away a cup of fresh hand-made coffee after dinner. In Japan's fast-paced work and life, the existence of this shop, with a cup of coffee brewed attentively, makes people feel a focused and serious concept of life.
SOLOIST COFFEE
The store originated in a small alley in Beijing. Its biggest feature is that the coffee beans used in the store are all boutique coffee beans with a cup score of more than 90 points by the American Fine Coffee Association in that season, and in order to ensure that the coffee beans are fresh enough, the store is equipped with a roaster that bakes twice a week to ensure the production of every cup of coffee.

The store is located in Cape Town, the second largest city in South Africa. Over the past three hundred years, it has experienced the colonial rule of the Netherlands, Britain, Germany and France, which has created its aesthetic appreciation, and TRUTH COFFEE is like a microcosm.
The cafe is decorating with a sense of retro. The headquarters building has three floors, the upper two floors are creative studios for renting, and the bottom floor is a cafe of more than 600 square meters. In the central area is a 3-ton coffee roaster, and inside the machine is a coffee steam boiler and an iron roaster that gives each cup of coffee a special taste.
