Before the afternoon company meeting, coffee and tea were prepared and poured into the thermos bottle, but it was either too hot to drink at first, or it would cool off after a long time... This annoying problem now has a solution.

TechCrunch reports that Ember Technologies raised money on Indiegogo last year to create a thermos that keeps drinks at the most palatable temperature, and Ember has sold 4,000 thermos.

Starbucks recently began selling Ember thermos bottles in-store and online for $149.95 each.

Ember CEO Clay Alexander said that hot drinks such as coffee, hot chocolate and tea are cooked at about 160 degrees Fahrenheit (about 71 degrees Celsius) in coffee shops and restaurants, while people are generally accustomed to drinking at 130 degrees Fahrenheit (about 54 degrees Celsius).

The general thermos bottle maintains the temperature with a simple insulation mechanism, but the heating is not uniform, and the temperature cannot be lowered when the beverage is just cooked, and the tongue is scalded. Ember's built-in semiconductors keep hot drinks in the ideal temperature range for hours.

After opening the box and taking out the new product, the Ember thermos cup must be charged before it can be used, and a mobile APP for controlling the thermos bottle is also attached for free use by users. The temperature can be controlled by rotating the base of the bottle, and there are no other buttons.

Alexander said they went to a lot of trouble to get the product on Starbucks shelves. Starbucks also vetted Ember after going through layers of product evaluation and testing to ensure safety, quality and coffee flavor.

Many celebrities are investors in Ember, such as famous singer Demi Lovato, Nick and Joe Johnson of the Jonas Brothers, DJ Kascade and others are very optimistic about Ember's development.

Ember is currently working on other temperature-control products, hoping that the public will be able to warm and cool any liquid food, such as drinks and soups, without fire or ice. Alexander said there could be new temperature-controlled products such as baby thermos or dinner plates coming to market in the future.

Think about what else this technology can be used for. In addition to coffee and hot tea, ice cream cups and bowls in summer will not melt so quickly if they are kept at a certain temperature range. The tofu pot and kimchi pot of Korean cuisine are delicious only when they are hot. If the speed is a little slower, the taste will be halved when they become cold in the second half. With the temperature-controlled pot, this problem will be solved.

Ember's technology seems to have been invented for friends who are a little paranoid about food temperature. After all, if some things were not at the right temperature, the taste would be slightly worse!
