In an earlier article, "Cold Beer Coffee is not Rocket Science," I outlined how easy it is to make cold coffee at home. No matter how you handle the task of cold brewing, it will be broken down into some basic steps:

Grind the coffee into a medium rough or regular rough setting.

Put the coffee in some filters.

Put the filter in cold water.

Wait 12-24 hours.

Remove the filter and serve.

There's one more step. That is to clean up everything, so your cold brewery is ready for coffee next time. Some of the more basic methods take more time to clean up. In this tutorial, I will show you how to use the "home" and above cold coffee machine to make cold coffee. It is not only easy to use, but it is super easy to clean.

Why do I like cold beer coffee maker?

The first step in using the new coffee brewer is computational mathematics. How much coffee do I use? Is that a gram? Where is my size? Now, how much water do I need? It's very easy to use a cold beer coffee maker. It's as if they anticipated these problems when they designed the brewery.

On the brewery side, they are marked 8 oz, 16 oz, 24 oz and 32 oz. It's cool. Now I don't need to use a measuring cup to add water. For this winemaker, I only recommend using a 32-ounce mark. Less than 16 ounces, coffee filter does not come into contact with water. At 24 ounces, not all coffee will be below the waterline. But at 32 ounces, the waterline reaches the level of the coffee filter.

Also note that once you remove the filter, you won't get 32 ounces of coffee. Will be close to 24 ounces.

The other thing I like about this winemaker is design. Not only does it function as a cold brewery, but it looks good at the counter. When the coffee is finished brewing, it has a good handle to make pouring easy.

Let's make some cold coffee.

# 1 grind 1 cup of coffee

The common ratio of cold coffee is 4 to 1, which means four parts of water for one serving of coffee. 32 ounces is a quart. Four cups are quarts. Divided by four, we get a cup of coffee. For those who like grams, use 85 grams of coffee. Coffee should be ground to medium to coarse. Please refer to our coffee grinding chart for more guidance, but don't care about the exact one. Cold wine is very forgiving.

# 2 put the filter in the beer machine and add coffee to filter

Put the metal filter in the cold coffee machine. Then add 1 cup of ground coffee to the metal filter. Be sure to brush any loose floor on the upper lip. Alternatively, you can use channels. If you have an AeroPress, you can use this funnel. It fits perfectly.

If you have a funnel, use it. Otherwise, brush the loose ground down into the filter.

# 3 add cold water

Slowly pour cold water on the coffee grounds. Keep pouring water until the water reaches the 32-ounce line.

# 4 join the lid and wait for 12-24 hours

Put the lid on the top of the beer machine. At this point, what we need to do is to make the brewing happen.

Leave the beer somewhere for 12-24 hours. I brew on the counter at room temperature. There is an exposed opening at the top that you will dump later. If you are worried about the dust or fruit flies in the coffee, please place the plastic bag or plastic package on top of the brewer within 12-24 hours of brewing.

# 5 remove filters and provide services

Even if the lid should be firmly attached to the metal filter, I recommend that the filter be removed slowly. Now put the filter in the sink because a small amount of coffee will continue to drain.

Depending on your personal taste and the time it takes to make coffee, it may be too strong. If so, just add water to taste. At this point, you can put a refrigerator in the refrigerator or in the refrigerator. Or you can heat it in the microwave and drink coffee. Even if it is hot, your cold beer will be kept clean and sour.

Clear

Take off the lid and knock the ground into the composting box. At this point, you only need the filter to rinse quickly and put it in the dishwasher. I wash me by hand. Even if the dishwasher is safe, I don't know how many cycles in the dishwasher will damage the rubber lips on which the lid is fixed to the filter.

Troubleshooting

If the coffee is too strong, you can add water, and you can use shorter brewing time, less coffee or rougher coffee powder later. If the coffee taste is too weak, you can use longer brewing time or use finer coffee. Adding more coffee may not help the brewery because the extra coffee will be above the waterline.

The last words

I am a big fan of cold coffee pot design from family and above. The only problem is the exposed lips during brewing, but this can be easily solved by covering it with an inverted plastic bag. Don't waste your money buying expensive cold coffee in a coffee shop. It's too easy to make yourself easy. Cold beer coffee is also ideal for squeezing time in the morning. The boiling time is done before you leave the house. Fall down
