Finca Santa Teresa, located at high altitude, rich in black volcanic soil, and at the same time receive the moisture of the Pacific and Atlantic winds, these advantages make high-quality coffee, it is located in the Santa Clara region on the border of Panama and Costa Rica (Santa Clara) production area, the owner of the estate is Juan Pablo Berard and his daughter Maria Luesia together run a 100-hectare coffee estate, 25 hectares of virgin forest reserved for flora and fauna habitat. Being located in a series of beautiful valleys and ridges creates a different microclimate and gives each microbatch a different personality. Coffee growing plots are separated by natural vegetation, streams or extensive virgin forest. Squirrel monkeys and more than 600 bird species frequently appear in association with FST.

Adjacent to the farm, La Amistad International Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is now jointly managed by Panama and neighboring Costa Rica. FST uses environmentally friendly methods of cultivation and treatment, and all waste associated with the production process is recycled as fertilizer or used as a fuel source for coffee drying. The water is taken from local streams and has been approved by Panama's local environmental authorities. FST employs 20 full-time employees, increasing to about 100 during harvest. Labour rights in Panama are among the highest standards in Central America.

In addition, FST provides free meals, medical care, accommodation, transportation, utilities and education for all employees. FST does not use child labor, has a school for employees 'children on the farm, employs teachers from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and provides school buses to help children commute to school in Volcan.
