Climate / geography

Hartman Manor is located in Santa Clara's picturesque subregion, near the Costa Rican border. At 1500 meters, Hartman Manor is not as high above sea level as some other coffee farms in the area, but its microclimate is ideal for producing high-quality Arabica coffee beans. Coffee beans grow in the region's nutrient-rich volcanic soil, and the microclimate provides mild temperatures for the farm all year round. The Hartmann winery prides itself on its coffee trees planted in the shade. This method of growing coffee will not only help protect the lives of natural birds, but also produce the sweetest and most fragrant coffee in the world.
