The siphon pot method that is popular all over the world
The siphon pot is said to have been invented in 1840 by a Scottish naval engineer named Napier (another term was invented by German scientists). Although the inventors at that time did not necessarily have such a wonderful invention because of coffee, the siphon pot was widely used to make coffee. It was popular in the United States as early as World War I. Until now, it is also a favorite way of making coffee for coffee lovers, and even some cafes use it to make coffee.
The structure of the siphon pot is simple, there are mainly two glass pots, and there are rubber rings in the middle to seal the two so that the water can go up and down freely. In the upper pot, there is a cloth filter (some are designed with filter paper, there is no ready-made cloth filter) with a glass tube and a small iron chain, which makes it easy to place the filter at the bottom of the pot. Connect the upper and lower parts with a handle. Using the siphon principle, the process of hot water rising into the upper pot and coffee flowing into the lower pot is completed through the pressure difference between the upper pot and the lower pot.
(common siphon pots) the utensils needed to make coffee from siphon pots are simple: a set of siphon pots, an alcohol lamp, a bamboo chip for mixing, fresh coffee beans, household grinding appliances (hand grinders or small household bean grinders).

The process of making coffee in a siphon pot is also very simple, mainly divided into six steps.
1. Put hot water in the next pot, light the alcohol lamp, and place it directly below the pot to start heating. Generally, a single cup of coffee uses about 120cc, and each additional cup can increase the same amount of water. The reason for using hot water is that it takes a little longer to heat the alcohol lamp, so add hot water to the pot to shorten the time it takes for the water to boil.

2. Grind coffee beans (it is recommended that you buy freshly roasted coffee beans to better ensure freshness and coffee quality). The amount of grinding per cup is 12-15g, and each additional cup can increase the amount of powder by 8murmur10g. In this method, the degree of grinding is medium or slightly fine. Fix the strainer in the middle of the pot, place the ground coffee powder on top of the strainer and shake it a few times to distribute it evenly.

Mocha kettle method
Mocha pots, like siphon pots, are also popular coffee-making tools. Compared with the siphon pot, the structure of the mocha pot is simpler: generally speaking, the mocha pot is divided into two parts, the lower pot filled with water, with a safety relief valve, a coffee powder bowl, and an upper pot with a coffee guide tube. Some mocha pots have a filter screen, while others can use filter paper when making coffee.
