However, under this regulation, good beans with unique flavor and high quality are not easily recognized and cannot be sold at a high price.

It was not until March 2017 that Ethiopia's prime minister approved a reform that would change the fate of Ethiopian coffee beans. This reform makes it clear that cooperative coffee processing stations have the right to export coffee directly; the separation of top coffee areas is allowed.

This means that once bean hunters or buyers of raw coffee beans recognize the quality of cooperative coffee beans, they can buy coffee beans directly from the cooperative.

These coffee beans also avoid the fate of mixing with other coffee beans. Yega Xuefei Syringa's sun-made coffee is the result of this favorable reform.
