Since 2004, Stumptown has worked with husband and wife team Marysabel Caballero and El Puente's Moises Herrera.
Marysabel Caballero is an energetic and enterprising woman who is the owner of Pantanal Farm in the La Piedrona community. She was born and raised on a coffee farm because she was involved in coffee production with her father in her childhood.
As a fourth-generation coffee farmer, Marysabel's connection with coffee is closely related to her family's history. Her family's coffee cultivation dates back to around 1907, when her great-grandfather began growing coffee in Honduras. Moises Herrera came to the cafe as an employee of a Guatemalan coffee exporter. During a visit to Honduras in 1992, he saw an area of the city of Chinacla with ideal elevations and conditions for producing high-quality coffee. The couple married in 1996 and together they began growing and growing coffee on their first farm, La Maltide.
The El Puente section of Stumptown, Honduras, has been washed. Coffee is fermented between 16 and 24 hours, fully washed with water from nearby natural water sources, and then dried in a lift bed in the sun or in a mechanical dryer.
El Puente won the COE competition in Honduras with an excellent score of 91.7 in 2016.
