I have three entrepreneurial stories about coffee, they do not have any dazzling new technology, nor do they want to save mankind, but take coffee seriously with the mentality of "professional".

The story begins in 2007. At that time, I was a coffee lover, soaking in a coffee forum called BCC, and I was lucky enough to witness the amazing experience of three "professionals" who made coffee a career.

At that time, someone said on the BCC forum that he would go to Ethiopia to buy coffee seeds and then go to Yunnan to plant coffee trees himself. At first, I thought this was a rich second generation or a big boss. After reading more posts, I found that he was just a small cafe owner called "grid". It seems that he is also an ordinary coffee lover like me. So I thought, how can this work?

At that time, someone said on the BCC forum that he wanted to make his own coffee roaster. At first, it wasn't a real thing. It was stuck up with cardboard to simulate a baking machine, and then he started from scratch and made parts bit by bit. It was just a small studio made up of two people. After a year, no one bought it. So I thought, how can this work?

At that time, some people worked in a coffee company in Beijing, regarded their career as a hobby, studied baking and matching every day, and started to have their own domain name and website early. They collected, sorted out and translated a lot of coffee materials. They simply wanted to live with the coffee industry chain. They definitely took Starbucks Schultz's heart with their salary. So I thought, how can this work?

In 2013,"So I thought, how can this be successful?" You watched them start their own business.

The first already has her own coffee estate, and both the estate and the new cafe are named after her daughter. Unlike those who brag about the history of Arabica coffee, his estate coffee beans belong to the third wave of fine coffee trends, and there is a honey-treated coffee bean-a complex process that takes time and labor but makes coffee beans sweeter.

The second, or rather two good friends, made the coffee roaster business a success. Not only did the roaster improve for five generations, but a smaller 500-gram roaster was also introduced. In addition, their fried beans business is also quite good, Italian mixed beans called FIRST KISS. Coincidentally, the first coffee roaster they made was sold to the previous guy.

The third has stopped working for others, but started a business together with a good sister in Qingdao. She is the biggest coffee lover I have ever met, selling her own blend and roast beans. In WBC, the highest competition in the coffee world, her blended coffee beans often appear in the top few in the competition in China, and also served as a WBC judge in Qingdao. Among her blend beans, I am most impressed by a blend coffee called "wildflower", which has a charming jasmine fragrance and berry fruit sour and sweet, like a layer of cream chocolate coated raisins, unforgettable. Even crazier is that this small start-up company has just reached food and clothing, and bought a German PROBAT roaster worth 380,000 yuan. If it wants to make money, this is really a bad business decision. Just to test the roasting curve of this top machine consumes 200 kilograms of coffee beans. It may be hard to imagine that in this Starbucks era, there are so many people willing to order freshly roasted coffee beans from her every half month.

These are three very ordinary entrepreneurial stories, there is no mysterious coffee culture, there is no large number of crazy fans, they are just three coffee "professionals", in the long coffee industry chain, from planting, baking, blending links to hone skills.
