Crowdfunding Cafe launched her "passionate Love"

Although Zheng Jinglin is a woman of science and technology, she is completely Wenqing in temperament. "probably in every girl's heart, there is a romantic dream that one day she can open a small cafe." Those romantic scenes appear in Zheng Jinglin's mind from time to time.

Until one day, Zheng Jinglin encountered a coffee made out of nothing (hereinafter referred to as "no coffee"), the heart can no longer be calm, did not hesitate to choose to give up a stable job, began to embark on a dream road. "make something out of nothing", a very special shop name, starting a business is born from "nothing", from an idea to a reality.

No curry is divided into two layers, with a total of 500 square meters, with an investment of millions of yuan, crowdfunding initiated by Zhang Wang and others. Soon, 13 investors formed a start-up team, with Zheng Jinglin in charge of day-to-day operation of the cafe full-time, while other shareholders were responsible for funding and providing resources without interfering in specific matters. In this way, Zheng Jinglin began her "passionate love" with Wuka.

Be the "matchmaker" of entrepreneurs and investors

Since its simple decoration in January 2013 and its trial opening in April, two years have passed, the cafe has held more than 100 activities, including start-up micro-lecture hall, project transfer, angel capital matchmaking meeting, enterprise clinic, founder salon, etc., with dozens or even hundreds of people participating each time. Zheng Jinglin is the trader of these activities.

"some people may say that Woka is so keen on activities, isn't it just to make money? In fact, it is not. " Zheng Jinglin said that the cafe did not break even until the end of last year, and all shareholders have never paid a dividend. When each participant comes here, the only requirement is to buy a 20-yuan cup of coffee. Woka's vision is to help entrepreneurs and investors connect.

In the operation of cafes, Zheng Jinglin strives to learn management experience from cafes in first-tier cities in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Zheng Jinglin does everything herself, from developing recipes to running Wechat's public platform. In the second half of last year, as the entrepreneurial atmosphere in Ningbo became stronger, Wuka began its second financing, with a total of 30 shareholders so far.

There is not too much romance in starting a business.

In March this year, Wujiazhou store began trial operation, located in Yinzhou Science and Technology Park, covering an area of 700 square meters. As the popularity of the science and technology park has not yet been formed, Zheng Jinglin came up with a new idea to make use of the second floor of the Yinzhou store. Soon, the "Unbounded Joint Office" ushered in the first studio, specializing in all kinds of creative activities, music festival activities and planning and implementation.

Zheng Jinglin is even busier. She shuttles between two non-curry shops during the day, collates relevant information and answers all kinds of phone calls at night. Some come to ask what project to do, how much money is needed, and some ask about recent activities, she answers patiently one by one.

"although there is not much romance in starting a business, my heart has never been as full as it is now." Zheng Jinglin was pleased with her brave decision two years ago. It was this decision that brought her into the dark horse, media and e-commerce circles, walking with a group of idealists.

Friends from Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Yiwu and other places have thrown olive branches and invited her to open a coffee shop. "before the time has come, only when we keep our feet on the ground and keep our feet on the ground can we go further." Zheng Jinglin hopes that all entrepreneurs in Ningbo know that there is no coffee, that they have been here, and that they like it.
