Inner Pot
The choice of inner pot material is the most entangled place when making products. In the initial design, stainless steel materials can be coiled and welded, which is convenient for manufacturing, while cast iron materials are greatly invested in the initial stage, so stainless steel has become a very tempting choice. However, after testing, it was found that stainless steel inner pot could not transfer heat evenly to the whole inner pot, resulting in overheating and scalding coffee beans at some points. (Good stainless steel pots are composite structures, the bottom of the pot is generally more than three layers, the bottom layer of stainless steel outer layer, the middle layer of copper plate as an important heat conduction layer to disperse the uneven heat of the bottom of the pot, so that the internal stainless steel layer can be evenly heated.) But this kind of technical solution is used on the inner pan of the baking machine. We really can't do it.

About the use of sampling spoon
Small baking machine is easy to be affected by the environment. The sampling spoon mouth will be a channel for cold air to enter when it is pulled out. Therefore, it is recommended to adopt the method shown in the figure when operating the sampling spoon. It is not completely pulled out. At the same time, the adjustable led spotlight of R500 can help you observe the expansion of the bean table and the change of color.
If you are used to pulling out, then we have also made a thoughtful design for you. The sampling spoon mouth is inclined upwards by 5 degrees. At the same time, the sampling spoon mouth extends a section of shielding part. Anyway, no matter how long you pull out the sampling spoon, no beans will escape from here.
The lower glass viewing window is also chamfered at 45 degrees, which provides a better viewing experience.
Damper Chapter
The design of the damper here follows the D type, which is still 100-gear stepless precision control. When the roaster works, gas combustion or electric heating causes air expansion to flow upward, which will naturally generate a positive pressure in the furnace. The function of the exhaust system is to extract hot air, roasted flue gas, etc. from the inner pot to form flowing hot air to heat coffee and take away silver skin. When the exhaust air volume regulated by the damper is lower than the positive pressure, it is the stuffy state we often say. This adjustment value is the damper of 30 gear on the R500 series.
