In 2009, I looked forward to having my own store, which is an old, quiet, temperamental independent bookstore. I began to swap out all the old books, all the old objects. There is still a long way to go between the ideal and the reality. when I am confidently preparing for everything, there is the news of the closure of a large independent bookstore one after another.

The good news is. During this time, I fell in love with coffee deeply. Pick up the camera, city by city, cafe by cafe to learn, take pictures. By the time I opened the shop two years ago, there were already 60 gigabytes of photos of cafes on my computer, all of which I had accumulated and taken by myself.

So when I open every store, when I see the house is empty, give me a pen and paper, and I will be able to draw every detail and every warm corner I want. Think of the warmth of every ray of sunshine and the laughter of every cup of coffee in the future.

In this period of my career, the most important person should be my teacher Wei Lingpeng, he is a very calm person, not happy with things, not sad with himself. I learned from him professional knowledge and skills that many people may not be able to learn for a long time, and more importantly, I learned the spirit and attitude I should have towards coffee, which is the source and motivation that keeps me going better and better.
