Due to pressure from the charming George Clooney and colleagues, I finally bought a Nespresso with a steam stick attached. Unfortunately, the hassle of disposing of milk residue in a steam stick and washing it every time it was used quickly outweighed the convenience of having an instant espresso ready to drink.

After that the Nespresso was forgotten and sat forlornly in the corner. Now that mypressi Twist was out, the caffeine-craving geek inside me was irresistible.

Twist looks like a gourd bell at first glance, seems to be relatively easy to clean and easy to operate, just put a (recyclable) carbon dioxide cartridge in the pressure tank, then fill the coffee tank with fresh ground coffee or coffee easy filter bag (with kit), fill the upper layer with hot water, and pull the switch.

Since no external power is required, mypressi Twist weighs just 500 grams and is as portable as it claims. The $129 product won't be available until later this year and doesn't appear to be going on sale in Asia anytime soon.

Fresh ground coffee can be placed directly into the coffee tank, coffee easy filter bag requires a kit.

Brewing coffee requires a gas canister to provide steam pressure, which is often used in whipped cream or soda, and also allows mypressi Twist to be used unplugged.

Do you think Handpress Wild Expresso Maker is the same thing?
