Unlike the usual washing and pressure treatment in Indonesia, WAHANA's coffee is fully washed-using a new pulp remover machine. Installed in 2009, the machine can process 25 tons of ripe coffee cherries per hour. Coffee cherries are not picked until they are fully ripe, and the processed green coffee beans are sorted and graded by hand.
