Yesterday received this precious package, the friend wrote: eggs, you received today's 1x4 pound coffee beans is the pride of Taiwan coffee beans, but also the pride of my hometown Tainan, in 2009 SCAA 11th result is Taiwan manor coffee beans, in the world's best ranking, in 2013 85.57 points got 12, but also Taiwan beans currently the best score. Li Gaoming, the owner of Tropical Dance Music Manor, is an entrepreneur in Tainan. The company is in Madou Town near my home. Through the introduction of his parents and uncles, the old man with white hair and bright spirit. Coffee trees are low-yield Tibica, planted in Alishan 1200 meters above sea level, and associated shade trees are citrus and longan. They are organically grown and certified by the American Coffee Association. The tropical dance manor takes turns fallow farming to fully cultivate the organic soil, so at present, only 2.5 hectares of land can be harvested, and one hectare can only produce 500 kilograms of sauces. The second batch of beans we have obtained have not suffered from cold damage. It was the best batch last year-- you should know how difficult it is to get these beans when you see here. This batch of beans is even rarer. Chen Zhihuang, the world champion of the 2013 Nordic Bean Baking Competition, baked them with a small Guest M3 machine and baked them with Nordic fire. I heard that they had the smell of sugarcane.

"I was surprised by the performance of this sun-dried bean. At first I heard the dry fragrance, and there was a slightly overfermented taste of wine, but the entrance immediately turned into a clean, rich, multi-layered fruit with sweet and sour taste, without a trace of indecent taste. It was amazing. I was surprised that Taiwan could make such a great sun-dried bean." Former chairman of the Fine Coffee Association of America and former director of Counter Culture Coffee / Peter. Julio (Peter Jiuliano)

In Taiwan, which is also on the golden belt of coffee cultivation in the north and south latitudes, Alishan's altitude, air, local brew quality, and temperature are all very suitable for baking good coffee beans of high quality. However, since the British first brought coffee trees to Taiwan in 1884, they have been unknown for more than 100 years. At the same time, they did not cultivate them attentively, and missed the period of Japanese occupation and the time of American aid.

In the 1990's, careful seed cutting was also hit by the most powerful 921 earthquake in Taiwan, although it did not damage the hearts of coffee farmers and enthusiasts.

The sweat and hard work of the Taiwanese were finally seen around the world in 2009. Alishan Coffee beans stood on the world's boutique coffee stage and won the honor of 11, the best product in Asia, and such a good ranking for the first time in Alish. it also makes the few estates on Alishan that cut coffee beans organically, gain great confidence and receive global attention at the same time.

The varieties of Alishan coffee are grown in Arabica. This kind of coffee grows in a harsh environment. Taiwan is located in the subtropics. The temperature is higher all the year round, and coffee trees like shade. If coffee trees are planted alone, they may be killed by the strong sun. The Ali Mountains are covered with forests and there are many betel nut trees, so most of his coffee trees are planted in the betel nut garden, because the betel nut trees grow fast and have luxuriant branches and leaves. It can not only absorb the sun but also get shade early, which is very suitable for the growth of coffee. In the coffee garden where Ali Mountain went, the coffee trees are all hidden in the shade of the betel nut trees. Coffee trees are also very strong, and the coffee produced is relatively good. Coffee trees are planted and coffee plants emit different fragrances and tastes according to where they are planted. They are still coffee varieties with great personality. Alishan Coffee in Taiwan is very popular in recent years. The history of Taiwan coffee can be traced back to 1624. In the early days, the Dutch introduced coffee. However, it is limited to drinking among the Dutch, so it can not be widely promoted. During the Japanese occupation in 1931, when the Japanese invaders made great efforts to mobilize farmers to grow coffee for their own needs and for the sake of Taiwan coffee, many farmers lost their fertile fields for growing rice. Although the coffee grown has a bumper harvest year after year, but the coffee has no profit and has lost its food, many coffee farmers have not been able to feed themselves by working all their lives. Mr. Kimura grows and cultivates in large quantities in the areas of Alishan, Nantou and Yunlin in northern Tainan.

In 1941 (the 16th year of Rizhaohe), most of the raw beans were shipped back to Japan. The coffee planting area in Taiwan has reached 75 hectares, and in its heyday it was known as "the largest coffee factory in the far East". In 1945 (Rizhaohe 20 years), the area of coffee cultivation in Taiwan expanded to 113 hectares after the war. After the surrender of Japan, Taiwan was restored, and the national government strongly advocated the reclamation of fertile land and the cultivation of cash crops. The aborigines of Alishan even wanted to use the countryside or mountains to grow some food to feed their stomachs. No one wanted to grow coffee that tasted as bitter as life, so Taiwan coffee gradually declined and was gradually forgotten by people. In 2000 (1989), it was not until it was publicized by the Taiwan government and the strong support of the Chiayi county government that local farmers began to grow coffee again, and Taiwan coffee gradually revived and developed well in recent years, and was loved by more and more people.

Alishan coffee is the most special and superior coffee in Taiwan, and its output is relatively small, and it is precious because it is rare. Alishan, located 75 kilometers east of Chiayi City, Taiwan, is located above 2000 meters above sea level, adjacent to the Yushan Mountains and Yushan National Park in the east, surrounded by high mountains, with a cool climate, with an average temperature of 10.6 degrees Celsius in summer and 14.3 degrees Celsius in summer. the average temperature in winter is 6.4 degrees Celsius. The taste is not bitter and astringent, and the flavor is mellow and rich. Alishan's unique climate and altitude conditions give birth to high-quality mountain tea, orchids and what the Japanese call the best horseradish (Washami). The number one coffee in Taiwan is not in Gukeng or Dongshan, but in Leye Village of Alishan Mountain.

Since then, the owners of coffee farms in Taiwan have opened their horizons and put their energies into coffee cultivation. They know more about collecting global boutique coffee information, know more about cup testing, and pay more attention to post-production. In 2014, in the Q Certificate certification of the American CQI Coffee quality Association, the Dragon Coffee Organic Ecological Park in Taichung scored 84.41, and the delivered coffee beans from the Alishan Tropical Dance Manor even got a high score of 84.67, directly killing many of the world's boutique coffee beans, even on a par with Kenya's AA, and more than 85 in 2015, distancing itself from its competitors.

It is a pity that Taiwan is too small, and the total annual coffee output is less than 700 metric tons, not to mention the scarcity of beans awarded in the Alishan competition, which has become a boutique growing place for experts all over the world. During the coffee growing period in Taiwan in the past 130 years, Taiwan has produced eight major production areas. Now, in addition to producing boutique coffee that captivates the world's masters, many of the world's heavyweight coffee is bred in this land. Chen Zhihuang won the Nordic roaster Cup Bean Baking Competition in 2013, Lai Yuquan won the World Cup Bean Baking Competition in 2014, and Liu Bangyu won the World Cup Test Championship. Talented people emerge in large numbers.
